Delicious Pointed Gourd Skin Paste.

Recipe: First peel off around 10 parwals…Collect the skins…Now, pressure cook the skins till they become soft…Now, make a smooth paste of the Parwal skins in Mixer, along with Green Chilly & Garlic..

Now, add onion seeds in hot mustard oil, in a kadai..Add the above paste…Add turmeric powder, salt, a little bit red chilly powder…Cook the same until, something like this picture forms…Its delicious, trust me.

Health Benefit: Since, for any vegetables, the nutrients mainly lie in the skin part, rather than the parts beneath the skin, hence, this dish is an extremely good source of Carbohydrates, Vitamin A, and Vitamin C. Also, it contains trace elements of Potassium, Copper, Magnesium, Sulphur and Chlorine
